Wild Minds Network exists to help people find land, projects, and each other. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect along the way, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've tried to write it in plain English rather than legal jargon — if anything is unclear, just ask.
This policy is governed by the law of England and Wales.

Wild Minds Community runs the Wild Minds Network. We're the ones responsible for your information, and the people to contact if you have questions about it.
Information you give us. This includes the basics you sign up with (your name and email), anything you add to your profile (like your location, a bit about yourself, and how to reach you), listings you post about land or projects, messages you send to other members, posts you publish, and anything you share as part of the Land Program.
Information we collect automatically. We use a cookie to keep you signed in, and we keep basic activity logs (like sign-ups and account changes) to keep the Service running smoothly and securely.
Information we get from others. Our membership and billing partner shares confirmation details with us when you join or renew (like your name, contact details, and payment summary) so we can keep your account in sync. We never see or store your full card details ourselves.
We use your information to:
Our reasons for using your information are: because it's needed to provide the Service you've signed up for, because you've given us permission for certain features, and because we have a legitimate interest in keeping things running safely and smoothly.
We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone else for their own marketing. We do share it with a small number of trusted service providers who help us run the Service — for things like membership and billing, sending account emails, AI writing assistance, and hosting. They only use it to provide that service to us. Some of these providers are based outside the UK/EEA; where that's the case, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place.
Land and project listings are visible to anyone, without needing an account, so they can be found by people who might want to get involved. Member profiles, posts, and messages are only visible to other signed-in members — and your contact details are only shared with others if you choose to share them. We don't publish a public directory of members.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you'd like it deleted, just get in touch and we'll delete or anonymise it — except for anything we're legally required to hold onto, like billing records.
You have the right to ask us what information we hold about you, correct anything that's wrong, ask us to delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, get a copy of it, and withdraw any permission you've given us. Just email us and we'll sort it out.
Wild Minds Network isn't intended for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make a significant change, we'll let you know by email or a notice on the Service.
